It is more than a canoe model, it is a work of art. The colors you see on that sail are not printed, nor are those stickers applied to the sail. Those Polynesian designs have been entirely hand painted over many hours using very fine Japanese fineliner pens. All 3 designs are unique to the sail of this canoe.

Whereby Polynesian designs have been applied onto the sail of contemporary voyaging canoes, it has never been done before on models.

An added value to this canoe is the use of extremely rare curly Koa wood, the very type of wood used in the construction of ancient Hawaiian outriggers.
